The Jason Floyd Golf Academy (JFGA) purpose is to create an environment where Junior Golfers can maximise their golfing and personal potential to achieve their life aspirations, be that golf scholarships to colleges in the USA, Professional Golf Tours or Business ventures.
Having over 30 years of experience in the golf coaching industry, being a protege to David Leadbetter and having worked with numerous European and PGA Tour Professionals, in 2010 JFGA Founder Jason Floyd turned his attention to the development of the next generation of champions.
Focussing on bespoke and personalised Technical, Physical and Mental performance programmes, the JFGAs boutique and holistic approach leaves no stone unturned ensuring every students individual programme provides them with all the necessary learnings to not just be successful in golf but being better prepared for future life also.
Working in partnership with Sotogrande International School (SIS) the JFGA have created combined golf and education programmes ensuring an equal balance between the students athletic and academic development ensuring they are best prepared for their next steps in life.
Triple A Golf & Education Programmes – Your Pathway to University in the U.S.A
To ensure that talented junior golfers become well rounded individuals, maximising their opportunities for success in whatever career path they eventually go down, it’s essential to strike a balance between their golf and academic development.
To achieve personal aspirations Junior golfers and their families need a structured system and a support team around them which focuses primarily on the personal skill development of their son or daughter first, creating a strong foundation for them to build upon as they gain more experience in life.
The JFGA, SIS and JFGA Scholarships provide that structured support by offering a unique programme allowing their students to study at school for 4 hours and train golf for 4 hours every day monday to friday, meeting all the necessary academic requirements to go to university in the USA or Europe whilst being accommodated in the school boarding house, whilst JFGA Scholarships create personalised and extensive scholarship profiles for each student connecting them with golf coaches from Universities in the US which meet their golf, academic and personal requirements.
The Triple A Programmes offer two full time options covering the final 4 years of pre-university education:
- Triple A Junior Programme (14-16 year old golfers)
- Triple A Elite Programme (16-18 year old golfers)
Additionally The Triple A Future programme is for 12 to 13 year old golfers who desire the same golf programme design but who are currently too young to join the Triple A Junior Programme and the Triple A Gap Year programme is for individuals who have finished school but want to dedicate a year to their golf development prior to college.

Based in the South of Spain, Sotogrande has everything a golf fanatic dreams about, incredible golf courses and amazing weather, it’s no secret why it’s the perfect location for an Elite Junior Golf Academy.
The JFGA is located at the San Roque Club which boasts two 18 hole European Tour Destination championship golf courses. The academy building was designed and built specifically for the JFGA in 2020 with optimising junior development in mind, featuring 3 large teaching studios, a putting studio and a gym kitted out with the latest cutting edge technologies such as:
- 2 Smart2Move 3D Force Plates (Fixed and Portable)
- Multiple Trackman Launch Monitors
- V1 Video Analysis Systems
- SAM Putt Lab
- Etc
Our philosophies embellish the importance of basing our decisions on the information and data we collect from each student which forms the blueprint to their personalised programme design which supports our phrase “We Don’t Guess, We Measure”.
The coaching team consists of Technical, Physical and Mental performance instructors, experts in junior development and all educated in the JFGAs own Instructor Training Qualification Programme, ensuring a consistent and concise communication structure and creation of personalised programmes, specific to each students personal needs.
Expert Golf Team
The JFGA team comprises expert instructors who are highly qualified professionals in the field of golf. The instructors bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the academy, ensuring that each student receives personalised attention and guidance.
The instructors are dedicated to helping students hone their golf skills, refine their techniques, gain a deeper understanding of the game and helping students develop essential life skills for life after graduation from the academy.
The San Roque Club
The San Roque Club (SRC) has a rich history in golf, with each of its two championship courses (the Old Course and the New Course) having hosted the Spanish Open on the now DP World Tour as well hosting the DP World Tour Final Stage qualifying school for many years.
Both courses offer varying challenges, providing an infinite amount of learning opportunities.
In 2020 the San Roque Old Course underwent an extensive refurbishment returning it to the status of one of Spains finest golf courses.
SRC is challenging the status quo of golf course customer experience, introducing new modern concepts whilst maintaining the important traditions in golf. A golf club open to pushing the boundaries of modern golf, making it exciting for the next generation provides the perfect location for an Elite Junior Golf Academy.
