College Athletics at American Universities is undoubtedly an incredible environment and opportunity for talented athletes to excel in their chosen sport. College athletes equated for 282 medals in the most recent Olympic Games in Tokyo. To put that into perspective, 112 was the medal count of the leading nation.
Countless PGA Tour Professionals are coming out of college each year, ready and prepared for their new career in golf which has now been boosted further by the introduction of the PGA Tour University Scheme.
During the 2025–26 season, approximately 85% of PGA Tour newcomers had previously played US college golf.

JFGA Scholarships is a bespoke scholarship service supporting junior golfers on their journey to collegiate golf in the United States and beyond. We are dedicated to mentoring and guiding student-athletes throughout the scholarship process, helping unlock incredible opportunities for their futures.
Our priority is understanding each student’s personal, academic and golfing requirements, creating an in-depth, tailored profile to connect them with college coaches who best match their needs. For students enrolled in the Jason Floyd Golf Academy, this support is woven into their programme, with additional mentoring on the skills they’ll need to develop for a smooth transition to university life.

For students enrolled in the Jason Floyd Golf Academy, we have the unique advantage of working with them face to face on a daily basis within the academy’s programmes. This close relationship allows us to create a culture where students can maximise their potential, developing a realistic understanding of what they’re capable of achieving, along with the attitude and behaviours needed to get there.
Working so closely with our students, and understanding them so well both as people and as golfers, allows us to build personalised profiles with far greater depth than most scholarship agencies. We create an extensive range of content, from skill overviews to technical, physical and mental session breakdowns, as well as interviews with the instruction team at JFGA and the academic team at Sotogrande International School (SIS).
Our team works closely with each student to create a customised athlete profile, highlighting their unique talents, achievements and potential. We understand the nuances of college recruiting and use our expertise to present students in the best possible light to prospective coaches.
