National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA)

The NJCAA is an association of community college and junior college (2 year schools) athletic departments throughout the United States. It is divided into divisions and regions. The current NJCAA has 525 member schools and holds 24 separate regions across 24 states.

At JFGA Scholarships, we understand that the world of collegiate sports offers various avenues for student-athletes to pursue their golfing dreams. In addition to the NCAA and NAIA, the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring golfers. The NJCAA is a renowned organisation that oversees athletics programs at the junior college level, offering student-athletes a unique pathway to combine their athletic talent with academic pursuits. Within the NJCAA, golf is a popular sport with two divisions: Division I and Division II. NJCAA Division I golf boasts a highly competitive environment, attracting talented golfers from around the nation. This division provides an exceptional platform for student-athletes to showcase their skills, compete at a high level, and potentially transition to four-year institutions. NJCAA Division II, on the other hand, offers a balance between athletics and academics, enabling student-athletes to hone their golfing abilities while pursuing their educational goals. At JFGA Scholarships, we are well-versed in the NJCAA and its golf divisions, guiding student-athletes through the recruitment process and helping them find the right fit within the NJCAA to kick-start their collegiate golf journey.

At JFGA Scholarships, we are committed to supporting student-athletes in every aspect of their NJCAA golf experience. Our dedicated team provides personalised assistance, leveraging our extensive network and expertise to help student-athletes navigate the NJCAA recruitment process. We assist in creating compelling athletic profiles, connecting student-athletes with NJCAA programs that align with their goals, and facilitating scholarship negotiations. With our guidance, student-athletes can embark on a rewarding collegiate golf career at the NJCAA level, setting a strong foundation for future success. JFGA Scholarships is here to empower student-athletes on their journey towards achieving both athletic and academic excellence within the NJCAA.

NJCAA Academic Eligibility

Talented individuals who do not qualify for either the NCAA or NAIA may be able to gain admission to a junior college. Each college will set its own entrance requirements. Only 25% of scholarships at a junior college can be given to international students. NJCAA colleges in general do not have a minimum passing score for the SAT although individual colleges may set one
